Fertility Tea

Fertility Tea

Lemon is a true superfood! Traditional medicine recognizes lemon as an amazing digestive tonic and antimicrobial. We recommend juice of one lemon every morning in hot water as a tea which is an Ayurvedic medicine practice. Remove the seeds before adding the hot water- actually they have demonstrated anti-fertility activity. The lemon works as a digestive stimulant and helps get your bowels moving in the morning.

In the Cultivate Fertility detox and Prepare for Pregnancy Course, ginger is used as a digestive and circulatory stimulant. Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties, is antibacterial, and is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine to fuel digestive fire and improve the transportation of nutrients to tissues and the assimilation of nutrients. Ginger is used to treat nausea, headaches, helps to keep blood sugar levels stable and is safe to drink in pregnancy and nursing - a true superfood!

Cinnamon is another potent superfood and one we love for detoxification and in your diet through pregnancy. Cinnamon is a powerful antioxidant packed with polyphenols and also functions as an anti-inflammatory. Cinnamon keeps blood sugar balanced and improves cellular insulin sensitivity. This incredible plant also has anti-fungal and antimicrobial properties and stimulates circulation of blood. This is one of our fertility superfoods and we recommend using it in your cooking as well as drinking in your morning detox tea.

Cayenne is the final potent medicine used in this morning tea. This plant is a strong vasodilator and is used in this morning beverage to help bring blood flow to the brain and wake you up! It helps stimulate your metabolism and improves circulation.
